Sunainaa and Vishvath's latest film Rocket Driver is now streaming on Prime Video. The film is written and directed by Sriram Ananthashankar and marked the debut of Vishvath.

The official synopsis of Rocket Driver reads, "An autorickshaw driver, with his share of flaws, often voices his dissatisfaction with various aspects of life. He has an undying dream to change the world but doesn't seem to do anything about it. What's truly astounding is that he happens to encounter the 17-year-old version of his role model, and things get weirder for the protagonist as he and his role model figure out the reasons for this strange incident. How and why are the questions the duo has to answer to send his role model back to his reality? They form the crux of the story."

Apart from Vishvath in the lead, the film also stars National-award winner Naga Vishal, Kathadi Ramamurthy, and Jagan, among others.

Upon its release on October 18, the film was received mixed to positive reviews from critics and audience. Our CE review of the film read, "The smaller issue is the pace. Rocket Driver unfolds so leisurely that it could make Meiyazhagan look like a Hari film. But that's really okay considering its rarity in the midst of all the adrenaline-pumping, hyper violent films that have been ruling the roost. The bigger issue is the lack of drama. It seems like a missed opportunity when you bring back such a prominent figure and do so little with him."

The technical team of Rocket Driver comprises music director Kaushik Krish, cinematographer Regimel Surya Thomas, editor Iniyavan Pandiyan, art director Prem Karunthamalai, and costume designer Suresh Ravi.

Rocket Driver is written by Sriram along with Akshay Poolla and Prasanth S. The fantasy dramedy entertainer is backed by Anirudh Vallabh under the Stories By The Shore Production banner.
