On Monday, Netflix shared the official trailer of A Part of You, a new Swedish coming-of-age drama film starring Felicia Maxime, Edvin Ryding, and Zara Larsson in lead roles. The film is written by Michaela Hamilton and directed by acclaimed author and podcast host Sigge Eklund.

The official synopsis from Netflix reads, "A teenager struggles to make sense of herself and her new world in an emotional coming-of-age drama about those who are left behind."

A Part of You is a story about life and death that portrays the experience of being 17 years old and feeling like your heart is about to burst from your chest. Agnes' (Felicia Maxime) older sister Julia (Zara Larsson) possesses everything that Agnes dreams of: she's the coolest person in school, the center of every party, and she’s dating Noel (Edvin Ryding). If only Agnes could be more like her.

When the worst possible thing occurs, Agnes' world is turned upside down and she’s forced to reinvent herself. Suddenly, she's on the verge of obtaining everything she's ever desired, but at what cost?

The other members of the cast include Ida Engvoll, Mustafa Al-Mashhadani, Alva Bratt, Emil Hedayat, Olivia Essén and Nikki Hanseblad, among others.

The film is produced by Alexandra Thönnersten and Stefan H. Lindén for SF Studios. Tim King is attached to the project as executive producer.
