Cobra Kai season 6 to arrive in three parts on Netflix

The final five episodes of the series will premiere in 2025 with an exact date to be announced at a later date

Netflix announced the teaser of the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai. The streamer also announced the release dates of the hit martial arts drama series.

As part of the Netflix Is A Joke Festival, the streaming giant has announced that the final season of the popular series will consist of 15 episodes, with the season to be split into three five-episode blocks.

The first five episodes will premiere on July 18, while the second batch of five will premiere on Nov. 28. The final five episodes of the series will premiere in 2025 with an exact date to be announced at a later date.

The official description reads, "Picking up with Cobra Kai eliminated from the Valley, our senseis and students must decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai — the world championships of karate."

Cobra Kai series is set 30 years after the events of Karate Kid. Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, and Yuji Okumoto are all set to reprise their roles from the Karate Kid film franchise in the series. It also stars Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Gianni DeCenzo, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Griffin Santopietro, and Oona O’Brien in prominent roles.

Cobra Kai began as a YouTube-exclusive show in 2018 before eventually moving over to Netflix starting with Season 3 in 2021.

Cobra Kai is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg via their production company, Counterbalance Entertainment.
