Gautham Vasudev Menon's Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha gets OTT premiere

Actor Varun's latest film Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha is now available to stream on OTT platform Prime Video.

Helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha started filming in 2019 and was expected to see a theatrical release in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the production of the film was halted. The film, was finally released on March 1 and received mixed reviews from critics and audience.

Our CE review of the film read, "Even in a film like Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha that doesn’t have a star at its centre, sure, we do expect Joshua to be winning battles, but what I found to be such a relief was seeing him suffer as well. Action is best enjoyed when you buy the illusion that both parties can hurt—and in his latest film, Gautham Menon shows Joshua reeling in many ways."

Actors Yogi Babu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Vichithra and Dhivyadharshini play pivotal roles in the film which has Varun taking on the role of a hitman who is given the responsibility of safeguarding a high-profile client played by Raahei. Actor Krishna plays the antagonist in the film.

This action-thriller is produced by Ishari K Ganesh for Vels Film International. The cinematography for the film is done by SR Kathir.
