Mirzapur season 3 trailer to be out on this date

The release date of the trailer of the third season of the crime-drama series Mirzapur was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. Through an Instagram post, the makers announced the date as June 20.

A poster featuring the ensemble cast from the series was shared on social media with the caption, “Chhal-kapat, Sheh-maat, milegi ek jhalak is gaddi ke khel ki ( Manoeuvres, mechanisms, you will get a glimpse of this game of thrones) Mirzapur Season 3, official trailer releasing on June 20.”

Mirzapur has been directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer. It boasts of an impressive cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal and Vijay Varma. It also features Isha Talwar, Anjumm Shharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheebha Chadha, Meghna Malik, and Manu Rishi Chadha, among others.

The second season (spoiler alert) ends on the beloved Munna bhaiyya (Divyenndu) being shot to death by Ali Fazal’s Guddu. Pankaj’s Kaleen bhaiyya, however, makes a narrow escape. In the episodes climax, Guddu takes over the coveted chair of Mirzapur and becomes the new ‘baahubali’ (strongman) of the area.

Season 3 of the series starts streaming on Prime Video from July 5.
