
Makers of Legendary Tennis player Roger Federer's documentary, Federer: Twelve Final Days, have released the trailer which runs high on emotions. The documentary features the run up to the 20-time Grand Slam title winner's retirement announcement.
The official description of the documentary states that it chronicles the final 12 days of Roger Federer's career. The makers say that the video was not shot for public viewing in the first place. The documentary also has interviews from Federer's contemporaries Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andyd Murray. It also features his wife Mirka Federer.
Federer: Twelve Final Days is produced by Lafcadia Productions and is directed by Asif Kapadia and Joe Sabia. Kapadia and George Chignell have produced the project.
The documentary will stream in Amazon Prime Video, which is also the distributor.
The 100-minute long documentary will be screened on June 10 at the Tribeca Film Festival, followed by a worldwide stream on June 20.
