Elite Season 8 trailer: Omar and Nadia return as a murder happens in Las Encinas

Netflix unveiled the trailer for the eighth and final season of their much-celebrated teen drama series, Elite.

The official logline of the upcoming season reads, "Omar and Nadia reunite just as graduation nears for students at Las Encinas and one last mystery pushes friendships — and enemies — to the brink."

Created by Carlos Montero and Jaime Vaca, the first season, consisting of eight episodes, was released on Netflix on October 5, 2018. Elite revolves around the mishaps of a group of teens who attend an exclusive private school in Spain called Las Encinas.

The upcoming season of Elite will reportedly see Omar and Nadia reuniting just as graduation nears for students at Las Encinas. The season will have one last mystery that will push friendship and enmity to the brink.

Daniel Barone, Ginesta Guindal, Jota Linares and Elena Trapé will direct the episodes of the eighth season. With Mina el Hammani returning to reprise her role of Nadia, S8 will feature new additions to the cast, including Ane Rot and Nuno Gallego.

The final season of Elite is all set to premiere on Netflix on July 26.
