Primetime with the Murthys, a slice-of-life series, is currently streaming on JioCinema Premium. The MTV Original series production is directed by Arvind Sastry, who is best known as the youngest recipient of the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Primetime with the Murthys features Sukhita Aiyar, Pritam Koilpillai, Sanjana Doss, and Amrith Jayan in significant roles. The six-episode series will traverse various themes such as online bullying, social media addiction, peer pressure, influencer culture, loneliness, drugs, suicide, the exploration of bicurious identities, and more. The show is a hyper-local series, capturing the essence of an urban South Indian family, shot entirely in Bengaluru.
