Don Lee's Badland Hunters to release on this date

Netflix has dropped the release date of the upcoming South Korean dystopian thriller Badland Hunters, directed by Heo Hyeong. The film which stars Don Lee, known for his roles in Train to Busan and Eternals, will be out on the streaming platform on January 26.

A sequel to the 2023 movie Concrete Utopia, in which Seoul is devastated by a major earthquake, Badland Hunters follows the transformation of the metropolis into an apocalyptic wasteland. In the wake of the natural disaster, civilisation has collapsed and survivors resort to whatever means necessary to get by, often going against one another.

Don Lee who plays Nam San and his team  Lee Hee-joon as Yang Gi-su and Lee Jun Young as Choi ji-wan, navigate the desolate ruins of post-apocalyptic Seoul to secure sustenance amid chaos, facing monstrous creatures and armed adversaries.

With a screenplay written by Kwak Jae Min and Kim Bo Tong, the film is being produced by Climax Studios, Big Punch Entertainment, and Nova Films. Netflix owns the distribution rights.
