Netflix released the first look poster of The Union starring Halle Berry and Mark Wahlberg on Thursday. The streamer also announced that the action thriller will hit the platform on August 16.
The announcement came as a part of Netflix's slate of originals for 2024. The first look poster features Berry and Wahlberg as Roxanne and Mike, respectively, as they hold hands and walk while deep in conversation.
The Union, which was previously titled Our Man From Jersey, will revolve around a common blue-collar construction worker who is forced into the dangerous world of spying, because of his high school lover.
The additional cast of The Union includes Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Mike Colter, Alice Lee, J.K. Simmons, and Jackie Earle Haley. The Union is helmed by Julian Farino, known for helming the first three seasons of Entourage. He has co-written the film's script with Joe Barton and David Guggenheim.
The film is also produced by Wahlberg along with Stephen Levinson and Jeff Waxman. The film's principal production took place between March and August 2022, in places like London, Slovenia, and New Jersey, in the United States.
