First BTS teaser of Agatha: Darkhold Diaries out

Marvel released the first behind-the-scenes teaser of their upcoming series Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, centred upon the Marvel character Agatha Harkness. The character is essayed by Kathryn Hahn in the series. 

The preview of the spinoff series features Kathryn, Jac Schaeffer, head writer and executive producer, and others part of the crew, speaking about the upcoming series. 

Apart from Kathryn, the upcoming show will also star Aubrey Plaza as Rio, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone as Lilia, Sasheer Zamata as Jen K and Ali Ahn as Alice. Emma Caulfield Ford, Maria Dizzia, Miles Gutierrez-Riley and Okwui Okpokwasili round out the cast of Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.

The official logline of the first episode reads, “In the first episode we see Agatha Harkness finally break out of a spell she has been trapped in. She can’t wait to go back to her old murderous ways only to find that she is powerless. The only way forward for her is to embark on a perilous quest to get her powers back with the help of an unlikely friend or two.”

While Agatha: Darkhold Diaries is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar in 2024, a release date is yet to be announced.
