
Netflix's latest young adult coming-of-age series, My Life With the Walter Boys has been renewed for a second season. The first season premiered on the streamer on December 7, and the renewal comes two weeks after the premiere.
Developed by Melanie Halsall the series is an adaptation of Ali Novak's 2014 eponymous novel. The series stars Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry in lead roles.
My Life With the Walter Boys follows the newly orphaned Jackie Hower (Rodriguez), who is forced to move from New York City to the countryside in Colorado. She moves into an overpopulated household filled with the children of the Walter couple. Things get entangled when two Walter Brothers, Alex (Gentry) and Cole (LaLonde) fall in love with Jackie.
Johnny Link, Corey Fogelmanis, Connor Stanhope, Marc Blucas, Alisha Newton, Sarah Rafferty, and Zoë Soul round out the supporting cast of the series.
iGeneration Studios, the production banner behind The Kissing Booth has backed My Life With the Walter Boys along with Sony Pictures Television.
