Vyooham trailer out: A cat-and-mouse game with progressively rising stakes

The official trailer of Vyooham was unveiled on Wednesday evening. The Prime Video Original web series is a crime thriller set in Hyderabad. The show stars Sai Sushanth Reddy and Chaitanya Krishna in the lead roles, with Preethi Asrani, Pavani Gangireddy, Shashank, and Ravindra Vijay essaying supporting roles. The show is written and directed by Sashikanth Srivaishnav Peesapati, while it is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda under the Annapurna Studios banner.

We are introduced to Arjun (Sai Sushanth Reddy) first in the trailer. Arjun is seen explaining why he joined the Indian Police Service. As he begins to solve a hit-and-run case, which results in a pregnant woman getting injured and losing her child in the uterus, he realises that there is more to what meets the eye. Arjun is seen dealing with a suspect, who is an ex-naxal linked to jihadi elements. He is also seen locking horns with Michael (Chaitanya Krishna), who begins to involve himself in the investigation as a matter of personal vendetta. True to its name, the trailer reflects a labyrinth of crime, consequences, and sociopathic dysfunction.

K Sidhardha Reddy is the cinematographer of Vyooham, with editing by Sai Murali and production design by Kiran Kumar Manne. Sriram Maddury is the music composer of the series.

Speaking about the project, Supriya Yarlagadda is quoted saying in an official statement, “At Annapurna Studios, we take great pride in our collaborative spirit, and Vyooham, our upcoming Telugu series, exemplifies this ethos. Our vision was to tell a story that unfolds like a puzzle and rewards a viewer's attention, and it felt great to achieve that with this show. We are confident that the unconventional narrative we have created will resonate with audiences in several countries, thanks to the reach of Prime Video. The extremely talented cast, director, and crew have woven a compelling crime thriller, and we are thrilled to share this finely crafted story with audiences worldwide.”
