First teaser trailer of Prime Video's Fallout out

Prime Video released the first teaser trailer of the Fallout series on Saturday. The series is live-action adaptation of the Fallout video game franchise.

The official logline of the series reads, "Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them."

The television series is handled by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, known for the critically acclaimed Westworld series. The post-apocalyptic series has an ensemble cast that includes Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Kyle MacLachlan, Matty Cardarople, and Mason Cufari.

Fallout is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game set in a version of the future that is influenced by the post-World War 2 culture, paranoia, and design aesthetics of the 1950s. The video game series, which released its first instalment in 1997, has spawned several game sequels and spin-offs ever since.

The live-action adaptation of Fallout is all set to premiere on the streamer on April 12, 2024.
