Ponniyin Selvan makers release new promo featuring the three leads

With just three more days left for release, the makers of Ponniyin Selvan 1 have shared a new promo featuring the three leads, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, and Karthi. The video has created quite a buzz on social media as those who read the book claim that no point in the story brings together the three main characters -- Arulmozhi Varman (Jayam Ravi), Aditya Karikalan (Vikram), and Vallavaraiyan Vanthiyathevan (Karthi) together. It will be interesting to see how Mani Ratnam has adapted this portion from Kalki's novel.

Ponniyin Selvan is set to be released in two installments, with the first part hitting screens on September 30. The makers are currently busy with the final round of promotional tours. Actors Karthi, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi were recently in Delhi for the promotions. They also visited Kochi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mumbai to interact with the media.
