The makers of Aasha have unveiled the trailer for the upcoming film. Urvashi, Joju George, and Aishwarya Lekshmi lead the cast of the mystery thriller which is set to release on September 11.
The trailer reveals Urvashi to be playing a headstrong single mother, who is at odds with her daughter, played by Aishwarya Lekshmi, on a lot of topics. As they navigate their differences and live their lives, a road rage incident leads to a ruffian (Joju George), pursuing them for revenge. The rest of the film is hinted to revolve around the characters, and the impact of their actions.
The cast of Aasha also includes Vijayaraghavan, Ramesh Girija, Ajayan Adat, Prashanth Alexander, Joy Mathew, Shari, Amrutha Krishnakumar, and Fehmin.
Safar Sanal, who has worked with Joju George on Pani (2024) as an assistant, has directed Aasha, based on his original story. He has written the screenplay and dialogues with Joju and Ramesh Girija.
The crew of Aasha includes composer Govind Vasantha, cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan, editor Shan Mohammed, production designer Vivek Kalthil, and action choreographer Dinesh Subbarayan.
Vinayaka Ajith is producing the upcoming film under his Ajith Vinayaka Films banner.
