The first look of JioHotstar's upcoming Malayalam web series Kappi Squad has been unveiled. It features the four lead actors, Bigg Boss-fame Rinosh George, Prakambanam actor Anagha Ajith, Diya Deepan, and social media content creator Joel Joseph. Abhirami Dayanandan, also a social media actor, and filmmaker Rahul Riji Nair are also part of the principal cast.
Rahul's banner First Print Studios is also producing the series, described as a 100-episode long-running show. It is created by Srikanth Mohan, who previously directed Sony LIV's Saiju Kurup-led web series Jai Mahendran. The upcoming series is directed by Belraj Kalarickal and written by Adithya Thejas and Subin George.
The technical crew comprises cinematographers Rakesh Dharan and Jayakrishnan Vijayan and music composer Sidhartha Pradeep. The makers are yet to announce the streaming date.
