Audiences generally highlighted a strong first half alongside impressive technical craft, although many felt the post-interval portions slipped into familiar, predictable territory. Even with the mixed reception, the film delivered a solid opening-day showing at the box office, pulling in a worldwide gross of 11.35 crore on day one, according to the tracking site Sacnilk. On Friday, the film earned a gross collection of 8.2 crore from theatres worldwide. This takes the overall I'm Game box office collection to 19.55 crore.
However, the net collection for the film in India remained steady, according to the tracker's data, registering 4.90 crore on Friday, only 50 lakh less than the opening day collection. Seat occupancy in India, too, was steady on Friday at 37 per cent, as compared to 42.8 per cent on Thursday.

The film marks Dulquer Salmaan's return as a lead in Malayalam cinema following 2023's King of Kotha, notwithstanding his brief cameo in Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. Joining Dulquer in the ensemble cast are Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Kathir, and Vinay Forrt. The script is penned by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker, with dialogues crafted by Adarsh Sukumaran, Shabas Rasheed, and Sajeer Baba.
The film's technicians include composer Jakes Bejoy, cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, production designer Ajayan Chalissery, editor Chaman Chakko, and sports choreographer Robert Miller.
