The makers of Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar dropped the first official teaser for the film earlier this Tuesday. Directed by Shahad and written by PS Subramanian and Vijesh Thottingal, the film marks Parvathy Thiruvothu's first role as a police officer. The Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar teaser hints at a storyline where Parvathy's character is embroiled in a murder case.
There is a reference to a pistol number, a reaction shot portraying Parvathy, Mathew Thomas, and Unnimaya Prasad's characters in shell shock, and a suggestion that Vijayaraghavan's senior cop is making an allegation against the protagonist. At one point, Vijayaraghavan's character says something along the lines of, "The crime will come out of the veil one day, and I will for that day." Elsewhere, Parvathy's character says, "He will not stop until he puts an end to this."
And elsewhere, we see her sitting in a police van as an accused, with cameras swarming her from all corners. The teaser promises a tightly-plotted and intriguing thriller with several thematic layers. The tagline reads, "Sometimes, justice stands above the truth..!"
Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar also stars Sidharth Bharathan, Azees Nedumangadu, Vinay Fortt, Radhakrishnan Parthiban, Praveen, Balaji Sharma, Vrinda Menon, Jayasree, Suparna, Siraj, Catherine Maria, Niyas Backar, Sreejith Ravi, Lal Jose, Dinesh Panikar, Dinesh Prabhakar, Rini Udayakumar, and Jayaraj Calicut.
On the technical front, the film has composer Mujeeb Majeed, cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj, editor Chaman Chakko, production designer Makesh mohanan, and stunt choreographers Action Sandhosh , Kalai Kingson, and Vicky master.
Produced by Arjun Selva under the 11 Icons banner, Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar is set for a September 11 release in theatres. Parvathy Thiruvothu was last seen in i, Nobody, and her upcoming projects include another film with co-star Dileesh Pothan and director Don Palathara.
