The makers of Bachelor Party D’EUX dropped the second song for the Amal Neerad directorial venture on Friday. Titled 'Shishiramo,' it is a soulful melody composed by Christo Xavier, with vocals by Shakthisree Gopalan and lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar. The video mainly features the characters of Sreenath Bhasi and Rajisha Vijayan, although some of the others also appear in it.
Written and directed by Amal Neerad, Bachelor Party D’EUX also stars Naslen, Kunchacko Boban, Tovino Thomas, Soubin Shahir, Sharaf U Dheen, Chandu Salim Kumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Nadhiya Moidu, Jyothirmayee, Rajisha Vijayan, Hansika Krishna, and Paris Lakshmi.
A spiritual sequel to Amal Neerad's own 2012 comedy, Bachelor Party, the film is slated for a November 19 release in theatres. On the technical front, it also has cinematographer Appu Prabhakar, editor Vivek Harshan, production designer Joseph Nellikkal, and costume designer Mashar Hamsa.
The film is backed by Amal Neerad Productions, Anwar Rasheed Entertainments and Fahadh Faasil and Friends. It has dialogues by Unni R, a frequent collaborator of Amal Neerad.
The filmmaker's last release was 2024's Bougainvillea, starring Kunchacko Boban, Jyothirmayi, and Fahadh Faasil. Made on a reported budget of around 20 crore, the 2024 film earned a gross collection of about 37 crore from theatres, according to data from the box office tracker Sacnilk. And while Bachelor Party was heavily criticised at the time of its release, expectations are high from the upcoming spiritual sequel.
