The makers of Bouma, starring Dileesh Pothan, Vineeth and Sagar Surya in the lead roles, have announced that the film will hit theatres on November 12. Written and directed by Rejin S Babu, the upcoming film marks his second directorial venture after the 2023 mystery thriller Pendulum.
The makers had earlier unveiled Bouma’s first-look poster, featuring 16 members of a family gathered around a long dining table. The ensemble cast also includes Revathy Sharma, Aditi Balan, Madhupal, Lena, Moksha Sengupta, Merin Philip, Raghunath Paleri, Jaffer Idukki, Vijay Babu, Manikuttan, Sajin Cherukayil, Praveena, Nilja and Bhagath Manuel, among others.
Backed by Bassam Kadhiyar under the banner of Atus Films, the film is planned as a multilingual release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. The technical crew includes cinematographer Sharan Velayudhan, editor Sooraj ES and composer Christo Xavier. Jayadevan Chakkadath is handling sound design, while M R Rajakrishnan is in charge of the final mix. Bhavana Release, the distribution arm of Bhavana Studios, will handle its Kerala theatrical distribution.
