Mohanlal is currently shooting in Georgia for his upcoming film Operation Ganga. The film already boasts of a stellar star cast, including the likes of Arjun Rampal, Adil Hussain, and Bhagyashri Borse. Recently, Mohanlal shared on social media that the popular dance group Triplets Ghetto Kids would also be part of the film. The actor made the announcement by sharing a video in which the group members are seen dancing alongside him to his popular 90s track 'Okela Okela' from the film Varnapakittu.
Triplets Ghetto Kids is is a dance group associated with an initiative to uplift disadvantaged street-connected and orphaned children through music, dance and drama. With over 10 million followers on Instagram, the group's dance videos enjoy immense popularity worldwide.
Directed by Meppadiyan fame Vishnu Mohan, Operation Ganga is based on an evacuation mission carried out in 2022 by the Indian government to rescue its citizens stranded in Ukraine and neighbouring countries during the Russian invasion. The film, which went on floors in August, is also scheduled to be shot in Poland, Kazakhstan, Delhi, Dehradun and Kochi.
Sree Gokulam Movies is producing the film, which has music by Shashwat Sachdev of Dhurandhar fame.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is soon expected to start shooting for Varane Avashyamund fame Anoop Sathyan's film, billed as a comedy action thriller.
