On Saturday, Nazriya Nazim expressed her gratitude to the audience for the positive reception of her latest film Scene, co-starring Suriya and Naslen. Nazriya shared stills featuring her co-stars on Instagram and wrote, "Thank you for all the love." Directed by Jithu Madhavan, who makes his Tamil debut with the film, Scene features Nazriya as a character named Maya, assisting Suriya's cop Inbaraj in a murder investigation. It also features Naslen in his Tamil debut in the role of an antagonist named Eeshwaran.
While Naslen proves menacing to the other characters in the film, Nazriya shares a warm relationship with him, as evident in the promotional events. As the caption for her still with Naslen, the actor wrote, "In a parallel universe," followed by a love emoticon.
Naslen has received praise from his co-stars Nazriya and Suriya during the film's audio launch. Following the film's release, Naslen and Nazriya have also been receiving considerable appreciation from audiences and film critics for their performances in it. Recently, Abhinav Sunder Nayak, director of Naslen's previous film Mollywood Times, and his Premalu co-actor Sangeeth Prathap praised the actor for his performance in Scene.
Released on November 6, Scene has received positive responses from audiences and emerged as a strong performer at the box office across South India. Following Viswanathan and Sons and Karuppu, the film is on course to mark Suriya's third consecutive hit this year. It is likely to give director Jithu Madhavan his third consecutive success after Romancham and Aavesham.
Meanwhile, Naslen has an exciting lineup of projects ahead. His next film, Bachelor Party D'eux, directed by Amal Neerad, is scheduled to hit theatres on November 19, 2026. The actor plays a gang member named Sony in the action-packed film, which also features Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban and Soubin Shahir.
Naslen will next be seen in Tiki Taka, directed by Rohith VS, which is slated for release on November 20, 2026. The film also stars Asif Ali and Wamiqa Gabbi. Another much-anticipated project in his lineup is Torpedo, directed by Tharun Moorthy and scheduled for a November 27, 2026 release. The film pairs Naslen with Fahadh Faasil. Additionally, Mattancherry Mafia, featuring Mammootty and Asif Ali, is another notable project in the actor's upcoming lineup.
On the other hand, Nazriya Nazim's upcoming projects include Gracias El Clasico, co-starring Tovino Thomas and directed by Muhsin Parari.
Meanwhile, Suriya has a film with his Jai Bhim director TJ Gnanavel next.
