Directed by Arun Gopi, who also helmed the blockbuster hit Ramleela, the film features Dileep and Tamannaah Bhatia, who made her debut in Malayalam with this film, in lead roles. Set against the backdrop of the gangster world, the story connects the Bollywood film industry of the 1990s with the world of organised crime. Bandra was released in theatres on November 10th, 2023.
Bandra is actor Dileep’s 147th film, initially announced under the working title D147. In the film, Dileep portrays Alexander Aala Dominic. Unfortunately, the film received a negative response from audiences in theatres and emerged as a box-office failure.

Additionally, he will be playing a prominent role in the mystery thriller Henok: The Man in the Mist, as well as in the much-awaited sequel CID Moosa 2.
The film also features Dino Morea, Mamta Mohandas, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Sarath Kumar, Lena, Easwari Rao, KB Ganesh Kumar, Siddique, and VTV Ganesh in supporting roles. The romantic drama gangster film was written by Udaykrishna and produced by Vinayaka Ajith. Bandra's original score was composed by Sam CS, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Shaji Kumar and Vivek Harshan, respectively.
