Actor-turned filmmaker Roopesh Peethambaran's new directorial is set to be announced on Sunday. Actor Dileep will unveil the first look through social media at 5 PM.
Roopesh, best known for playing the younger version of Mohanlal's iconic role Aadu Thoma in Spadikam, has also directed two films, Theevram and You Too Brutus. While Theevram, a thriller, was headlined by Dulquer Salmaan and Sreenivasan, You Too Brutus was a multistarer comedy featuring Asif Ali, Tovino Thomas, Sreenivasan, Anu Mohan, Honey Rose and Rachana Narayanankutty.
As an actor, Roopesh has also played notable roles in films like Oru Mexican Aparatha and Angarajyathe Jimmanmar.
Earlier in 2023, he announced a film titled Bhaskara Bharanam, in which he donned multiple hats as an actor, writer, director, and co-producer. It is not clear whether Dileep will unveil the first look of the said project or if it's a completely new one.
