Prakambanam, the horror comedy headlined by Ganapathi, Sagar Surya, and Ameen, has started streaming on ZEE5. The digital premiere comes over a month after its theatrical release. Hitting screens on January 30, the film emerged as a sleeper hit at the box office. It is still being screened at a few centres in major cities like Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
Prakambanam is directed by Vijesh Panathur, who made his debut co-directing Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese's Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna. Scripted by Sreehari Vadakkan from a story by Vijesh, Prakambanam also stars Mallika Sukumaran, Azees Nedumangad, P P Kunhikrishnan, Aneesh Gopal, and Sanesh Guinness.
The film’s cinematography is by Alby, editing by Sooraj E S, music by Bipin Ashok, and background score by Sankar Sharma. It is produced by Sreejit KS, Kaarthikeyan S, and Sudhish N under the banner of Navarasa Films, in collaboration with Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Studio.
