

Director Krishand's science-fiction film Masthishka Maranam, starring Rajisha Vijayan, has been getting much appreciation from audiences and critics alike. While the film is yet to get off the blocks well and truly at the box office, there is no dearth of positive opinion about it. The latest to commend it is Gouri Kishan.
The actor took to her Instagram Stories, shared a poster for the film and wrote a few lines of appreciation, giving a shout out to the cast and crew behind it. "Krishand, take a bow," she wrote before calling the film, "one of a kind experience for Malayalam cinema."
According to Gouri, Rajisha Vijayan "owned" her role in the film, and she praised her presence in "every single frame". She called Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju's performance in the film fabulous. "Can't wait for more such interesting characters," she wrote, referring to Niranj's role in Masthishka Maranam.
Referring to Divya Prabha, Gouri said, "DP killed it as usual." And tagging Ann Saleem, she wrote, "Nee superada" (you are superb).
"Big up to the rest of the cast and crew of Masthishka Maranam. It's a must-watch theatre experience, don't miss it," Gouri concluded her thoughts.
The film tells the story of a man who gets into the black market and finds a VR-based game, which helps him keep his late daughter's memories alive. However, in the process of doing so, he comes across a dark secret that pertains to a superstar. The film also stars Vishnu Agasthya, Rahul Rajagopal, Santhy Balachandran, Jagadish, and Suresh Krishna.
According to data from the industry tracker Sacnilk, Masthishka Maranam has gained 3.5 crore at the global box office. The box office collection is yet to reflect the positive feedback it has received from critics.
