As reported earlier, Indrans and Madhoo (formerly Madhubala) are coming together for a new film titled Chinna China Aasai. Its makers have announced that the film will hit screens on June 19. Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films will release the film in Kerala.
Shot entirely in Varanasi, Chinna Chinna Aasai is written and directed by debutante Varsha Vasudev, who previously helmed the noted short film Ente Narayanikku. The upcoming film is produced by Abhijith Babuji under the banner of Babuji Productions. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Faiz Siddik, editor Reckson Joseph, and music director Govind Vasantha.
Madhoo, best known for her role in the Mani Ratnam classic Roja, was last seen in Malayalam in Manotharangal, an anthology series based on MT Vasudevan Nair's stories.
Indrans, most recently seen in a strong role in Suriya's blockbuster film Karuppu, is also in talks for the upcoming Dhanush-Mammootty film directed by Amaran-fame Rajkumar Periasamy.
