The makers of actor Bhavana's upcoming film, Anomie, announced that the film's release has been postponed from its initial January 30 release. The film, which also stars Rahman in the lead, will now release theatrically on February 6.
Anomie is written and directed by Riyas Marath in his directorial debut. Riyas has previously co-written Neeli (2018), which stars Mamta Mohandas, and Diwanji Moola Grand Prix (2018). Apart from acting, Bhavana is also producing under her Bhavana Film Productions banner, along with Aadith Prassana Kumar of APK Cinema, and Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
The cast of the film also includes Shebin Benson, Arjun Lal, Vishnu Agasthya, and Binu Pappu, among others.
Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who won a National Award for his work on Animal (2023), is composing music for Anomie. The crew of the film also includes Sujith Sarang as the cinematographer, Kiran Das as the editor, and Arjun Jox as the art director.
