On the occasion of Arjun Ashokan's birthday, the teaser for his upcoming film, Melcow Pondicherry, was released. The upcoming film is directed by Nikhil Thomas who has served as a co-writer on Prince and Family.
The teaser shows a short conversation between the characters of Arjun Ashokan and Naan Kadavul Rajendran. The latter's character hints at the film's plot, which might centre around a group of friends trying to find their missing friend in Pondicherry.
The cast of the film also includes Balu Varghese, Althaf Salim, Sarath Sabha, Motta Rajendran and Sanoop, alongside debutants Sreelakshmi Vijayan and Anna Susan Roy.
Nikhil has written the story of Melcow Pondicherry, which has screenplay and dialogues by Sanoop Thykoodam. The crew of the film includes composer Electronic Kili, cinematographer Saneesh Stanly, editor Sagar Das and art director Aji Kuttiyani, among others.
Arun Gopy is producing Melcow Pondicherry under his Arun Gopy Excitements banner along with Justin Mathew, who is producing under his Justin & Mathew Entertainments.
