
The trailer of Lukman Avaran-Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer Vala was released on Saturday, and it promises a gripping drama centered around a precious bangle (vala in Malayalam). The trailer begins with Raveena Ravi's character proudly talking to her husband, played by Dhyan, about a bangle given by her grandmother. Later on, we see Lukman's character, a police constable, claiming that the bangle was actually stolen, which she denies. Soon, we see top-ranked police officials, blazer-wearing gangsters, and Arabs getting involved in the clash over this bangle, promising some high-stakes drama.
Vala is directed by Muhashin and written by Unda-fame Harshad, who both previously collaborated on Basil Joseph's Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham. The upcoming film also stars Vijayaraghavan, Shanthi Krishna, Sheethal Joseph, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Navas Vallikkunnu, Kollam Shafi, Gokulan, and Abu Salim. The film's composer Govind Vasantha is also playing a key role.
Afnas V handles the cinematography, and editing is by Siddique Hyder. Produced by Fairbay Films, Vala is set to hit screens on September 19.
