Actor Nazriya, who has been absent from social media and promotions before her hit Sookshmadarshini, has broken her hiatus on the occasion of Onam to post celebrations with her husband and actor Fahadh Faasil and her pet dog.

In the video she posted on Instagram, she had shared a timelapse video showing her dog cherishing the Onam Sadhya. The later images showed her clad in festive attire with Fahadh Faasil.

Soubin Shahir, Srinda, Fahadh's brother and actor Farhaan Faasil, Poornima Indrajith and others commented on the post, welcoming her on the social media site.

Earlier in April, Nazriya took to her Instagram handle to issue a statement on her absence from all platforms. She apologised to her friends for not picking up her calls or responding to their messages. She revealed she has been dealing with challenges related to her emotional wellbeing in recent months, which led her to “shut down completely”.

The Ohm Shanthi Oshaana actor expressed regret over missing several personal and professional milestones, including her 30th birthday and the success of her 2024 film Sookshmadarshini.

Although she didn't specify what she was going through, she said that she is “working on healing and getting better every day”.

Recently, Nazriya, along with Fahadh and Farhaan visited Mohanlal's residence to spend time with him and his family. Also present were Mohanlal’s son Pranav Mohanlal and his wife Suchitra Mohanlal.

After a break of five years, Nazriya had returned to acting in films with Sookshmadarshini in 2024, directed by MC Jithin and written by Libin TB and Athul Ramachandran. The film, also starring Basil Joseph, alongside Akhila Bhargavan, and Pooja Mohanraj opened to positive reviews from audiences and critics and won her the Best Actress Award at the 48th Kerala State Film Critics Awards. Up next, she has her Tamil web series Madras Mystery awaiting release which marks her debut on OTT.
