Actor Kunchacko Boban and director Jithu Ashraf are set to reunite for a new film following the blockbuster success of Officer On Duty, which released earlier this year. The upcoming project, produced by E4 Experiments, was announced on Wednesday by the makers through social media, alongside a casting call for the film’s female lead.

Reportedly, the untitled film has cinematography by Roby Varghese Raj, editing by Chaman Chakko, and production design by Jothish Shankar. Roby and Chaman had also worked on Officer On Duty, which marked the directorial debut of Jithu, who is also an actor. The investigative thriller was scripted by writer-director Shahi Kabir and co-produced by filmmaker Martin Prakat.

The film also stars Dileesh Pothan, Aavesham-fame Sajin Gopu, and Manjummel Boys director Chidambaram in prominent roles. The Bougainvillea actor is also part of Mahesh Narayanan’s ambitious multistarrer Patriot, featuring Mammootty, Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, and Nayanthara.
