It is double delight at the Mohanlal household as the legendary's actor son Pranav's film Dies Irae, with Rahul Sadasivan, has opened to positive word of mouth following its paid premiere last night and its first show and as his daughter Vismaya's acting debut Thudakkam has been launched. Kalyani Priyadarshan, whose family is close to Mohanlal's family, took to her Instagram Stories to express her excitement for Pranav's film and Vismaya's beginning in cinema. Sharing a poster of Dies Irae featuring Pranav Mohanlal last night, the Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra star wrote, "The day has come and I can't wait for everyone to see him killing it!" followed by a fire emoticon. Kalyani also shared a childhood picture featuring her with Vismaya and wrote, "And this beautiful human starts her journey as an actor today too... You got this Mayoo. You always have."
Interestingly, Kalyani did not know that her legendary filmmaker father Priyadarshan has an account of Instagram until last night. She shared Priyadarshan's emotional post for Vismaya and wrote, "Not gonna lie I had no idea that my dad was on Instagram until this very moment."
Thudakkam is directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirvad Cinemas.
