Tributes are flowing in from all corners for legendary ad filmmaker and advertising company Ogilvy's executive chairman, Piyush Pandey. Prakash directed many commercials for Ogilvy, notably those involving the brands Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk and Vodafone ZooZoos. A while ago, Prakash, who recently played the antagonist in Tharun Moorthy's Thudarum, opposite Mohanlal, took to his Instagram Stories to pay a tribute to Piyush. Sharing a picture of them sitting together, Prakash described Piyush as "a larger than life" personality and his friend. "You will always be a part of me. Until we meet again," wrote Prakash.

Notably, Prakash worked with Piyush on the first television advertisement for the Indian Railways, which even won the Gold Lion award at the Cannes Lions ceremony's category Film Craft in 2011.

In a recent conversation with The Print, Prakash called Piyush his 'hero'. In the interview, Piyush commended Prakash's knack for storytelling and ability to make powerful visuals. It is worth noting that, like Prakash, Piyush also starred in a film, Madras Café, opposite John Abraham, and he even wrote one (Bhopal Express).

Prakash's wife Sneha Iype, executive producer and his partner at Nirvana Films, which has collaborated with Ogilvy, also called Piyush Pandey her 'hero' in her latest tribute post for the legendary advertiser. Sneha Iype highlighted Piyush's personal qualities that made him special for her, such as his kindness and warmth, and described him as "a giant in every sense". She also expressed her gratitude to Piyush for acting as "a guiding light and an inspiration" for her.
