The first look of Madhuramee Jeevitham, headlined by veteran actors Siddique and Vinaya Prasad, was unveiled by the makers on Monday on the occasion of Diwali. The poster shows the lead actors, presumed to be playing a couple, smiling while seated under a tree in a rural Kerala setting. The film is directed by Mathew Scaria, who previously co-directed the 2020 Tamil film Miya, starring Sonia Agarwal and Namitha.
Billed as a family drama centred on loneliness, Madhuramee Jeevitham also features Johny Antony, Pramod Valiyanadu, Dinesh Panicker, Roy Sebastian, Vivek Sree, Ansal Palluruthy, Dilsha Prasannan, Poojitha Menon, Gayathri Suresh, and Mareena Micheal. According to a press note, the film examines contemporary concerns set off by the arrival of schoolteacher Madhavikutty (Vinaya Prasad) in the life of retired bank manager Chanthu Menon (Siddique), and how this affects their lives and the lives of those around them. The technical crew includes cinematographer Krishna P S, editor Kapil Krishna, and composer Anantharaman Anil.
Madhuramee Jeevitham is produced by the film’s writer Sreelal Prakashan, with Dr Sreekumar J and Sreesan Prakashan as co-producers. The film, currently in post-production, is expected to be released in November.
