As Nivin Pauly celebrates his birthday today, the makers of his upcoming film Baby Girl released a motion poster introducing his character in the film. The actor plays a nursing attendant named Sanal Mathew and the new poster features him holding a newborn in his hand. Earlier this year, during Onam, the makers released a first look, which also featured Marco-fame Abhimanyu Thilakan, Lijomol Jose and Sangeeth Prathap.
Baby Girl is directed by Arun Varma, who previously made the Suresh Gopi-Biju Menon starrer Garudan. The acclaimed writing duo Bobby and Sanjay are scripting the film, which is billed as a thriller.
Aditi Ravi, Major Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, Azees Nedumangad, Kaillash, Alphy Panjikaran, Kichu Tellu, Josekutty Jacob, Nisha Sarang, and Aswanth Lal are the others in the cast. Cinematographer Faiz Siddik, editor Shyjith Kumaran and composer Christy Joby form the core technical crew. The film is produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames, marking his fifth collaboration with Nivin after Traffic, Thuramukham, Ramachandra Boss & Co, and Malayalee from India.
Baby Girl's shooting was wrapped in June, but the makers are yet to announce their release plans. Nivin is currently working on B Unnikrishnan's film, which is reportedly a political drama. The actor's upcoming lineup includes Akhil Sathyan's Sarvam Maya, debutants Sandeep Kumar and George Philip Roy’s Dear Students, the Tamil films Benz and Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, and the JioHotstar web series Pharma.
