The first look of Antony Varghese Pepe's upcoming film Kattalan will be out on October 11, Saturday, at 5 PM. The film, directed by debutant Paul George, is shaping up as an action thriller mounted on a big scale. It is the second production venture of Shareef Muhammed's Cubes Entertainments after the success of last year's Marco.

Meanwhile, Antony is currently under treatment after suffering an injury during the film's shooting in Thailand. The actor sustained injuries to his hand while filming an action sequence involving an elephant. He is currently resting and recovering under medical supervision. Following his injury, the makers have postponed the next schedule by two weeks.

Kattalan, set against the backdrop of ivory smuggling, has action choreography handled by Kecha Khamphakdee, known for his work in Ong-Bak 2, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and Jawan. It has cinematography by Renadive, editing by Shameer Muhammed, and music by Kantara composer B Ajaneesh Loknath.

Since it's planned as a multilingual release, Kattalan has non-Malayali actors like Kabir Singh Duhan, Sunil, Raj Tirandasu, and Kill-fame Parth Tiwari as part of the cast. Rajisha Vijayan plays the female lead in the film, which also stars rapper Baby Jean, Shibin S Raghav, and singer-turned-actor Hanan Shaah.
