Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is awaiting the release of his long-awaited film Vilaayath Budha this Friday, spilled the beans about his upcoming films in a recent conversation with Red FM Malayalam. He said that Jeethu Joseph "wants to do a sequel" to their commercially successful murder mystery Memories. "He has been talking to me about it for a while now," the actor said about the Memories sequel. He suggested that Memories 2 would be a continuation of his police officer character Sam Alex's story. However, the actor did say that the final decision on the sequel is up to the film's makers. He also hinted at a potential reunion with his Aadujeevitham director Blessy.

Prithviraj Sukumaran gave updates about the production status of his other confirmed films as well. He said that there is one more production schedule left for Nobody, his film with director Nissam Basheer and Koode co-star Parvathy Thiruvothu. "After Nobody, I will start working on Khalifa," he said. He added that work on his long-in-discussion film Kaaliyan has commenced and that it will go on floors next year, as will Santhosh Trophy, which will reunite him with his Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil director Vipin Das. "We are sitting with Ravi Basrur as part of the composition work at his studio," he said, referring to Kaaliyan.

Prithviraj is currently shooting the film with director SS Rajamouli and co-stars Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra.
