Kaantha, starring Dulquer Salmaan, has been earning plenty of positive appreciation from within and beyond the film industry. The other day, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra star Chandu Salimkumar took to social media to shower the film with praise. Chandu shared a still from the film and wrote, “The comeback is greater than the setback.” For your information, Dulquer received plenty of criticism for his performance in King of Kotha

According to the Manjummel Boys star, the film's screenplay keeps the audience hooked, despite telling a familiar story. The actor called director Selvamani Selvaraj an amazing screenwriter and described the film as outstanding. He also commended Dani Sanchez Lopez's realistic cinematography and Jakes Bejoy's music. “Jakes Bejoy as always. This is his time,” wrote Chandu, referring to a popular line from Mohanlal in Ravanaprabhu.

“If Samuthirakani just stands simply, we can know his power. For him, becoming a character is as easy as plucking a flower,” Chandu said. “Bhagyashri Borse. Her eyes are haunting. Kumari is a character who demands such eyes. Bhagyashri has handled the sudden shifts in her character beautifully,” the Lokah actor shared. He also appreciated Rana Daggubati’s performance. “He just came onscreen and swept us off our feet. Felt a certain kind of swag we have not seen before from him in this film. The second half belongs to him,” Chandu said about Rana Daggubati.

Chandu reserved the highest praise for his best friend Dulquer Salmaan. “I will call him only the King of Acting. This is after having seen what he has done in this film,” Chandu shared. The Lokah star cited some sequences in Kaantha where Dulquer's character virtually tells the audience in the film within the film that he is going to stun them. According to Chandu, the real audience is also clapping for him in these instances. He said that it is challenging to perform such scenes. “I will stand up and applaud him just for the courage he has shown to do such scenes,” Chandu wrote about Dulquer. “All in all, Kaantha is a film where I came out feeling completely satisfied,” Chandu shared. 

The actor ended his long post with a reminder to Dulquer. “Like we always remind ourselves - They hate, we elevate. And that is exactly what we will keep doing.”

Dulquer responded to the post saying, “Love you bestie! Like you said, they hate we elevate! Amen to that.”
