The other day, we reported about the makers of director SS Rajamouli's next film, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, dropping a poster giving a first look at the actor's character in it. The poster shows Prithviraj's Kumbha in a metallic wheelchair complete with robotic arms, reminiscent of Suriya's character from the sci-fi film 24, directed by Vikram Kumar, and Doctor Octopus from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 who is played by Alfred Molina. Amid the many reactions to the poster from the film, tentatively titled SSMB29, Kerala Police put out a quirky response to it while promoting the importance of wearing a helmet for the public. "If there was a helmet too, it would have been great. Helmet is mandatory in two-wheeler journeys," the police department's official Instagram account wrote.
When the makers first dropped the first-look poster, Prithviraj described it as "the most complex mind I have ever played." The actor expressed his gratitude to director Rajamouli for "crafting a world that constantly tests" his limits as an actor. Prithviraj plays the antagonist in the film whom Rajamouli described as a "sinister, ruthless and powerful" character. It also stars Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra. On the technical front, it has music by Academy Award winner MM Keeravani.
