The teaser of Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies, an upcoming wrestling-based film, was released on Saturday. It gives a glimpse of the vibrant, chaotic world of Fort Kochi's local wrestling culture. Lead actors Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath feature in the teaser, promising a lot of energy and power-packed action.

Chatha Pacha is directed by debutant Adhvaith Nayar, who has also penned the story. Its screenplay and dialogues are penned by Sanoop Thykoodam, who earlier wrote Chunkzz, Vikruthi, and Sumesh & Ramesh. It is produced by Ritesh S Ramakrishnan and Shihan Shoukath under the banner of Reel World Entertainment.

Shihan Shoukath, in a statement, said, "We’ve spent the last two years building Chatha Pacha from the ground up, and in that time, it’s grown from a scrappy underdog idea into a full-blown world we’ve poured our hearts into. It’s loud, chaotic, full of emotion, and rooted deeply in the culture we love, but it’s also wild and genre-bending in a way that hopefully feels new. The teaser barely scratches the surface of what’s coming, but it gives you a taste of the madness we’ve crafted, one that blends the thrill of wrestling, the grit of Fort Kochi, and the kind of big-screen energy we miss. As someone who’s been both behind the camera and behind the vision, I can’t wait for audiences to step into this universe."

Roshan, who plays one of the leads, added, "Chatha Pacha is unlike anything I’ve done before. The best part is, I think that’s true for most of us who are part of this film. It really is a uniquely mad idea. I hope people have as much fun with the film as we’ve had making it. This teaser is just a peek into the world of CP."

Chatha Pacha has a formidable technical team, led by the acclaimed composer trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, making their Malayalam debut. While they compose the songs, the background score is done by Kishkindha Kaandam-fame Mujeeb Majeed. Anend C Chandran is credited as the director of photography, with additional cinematography by Jomon T John and Sudeep Elamon. Praveen Prabhakar is editing the film, which has action choreographed by Marco-fame Kalai Kingson.

Chatha Pacha is backed by one of the most formidable distribution networks in Indian cinema. In Kerala, Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films is handling the release, while Dharma Productions is making their Malayalam entry by securing the film's North Indian distribution rights. Mythri Movie Makers is bringing it to audiences in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with PVR Inox Pictures in charge of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka distribution. The Plot Pictures will be taking Chatha Pacha to international audiences as the makers plan a multilingual release in January 2026.
