Malavika Mohanan wraps first schedule for Hridayapoorvam

Malavika Mohanan, who teams up with Mohanlal and director Sathyan Anthikad for the first time in Hridayapoorvam, has wrapped the first production schedule for it, the actor shared through social media. The actor, who started shooting for the film in February, said that collaborating on it felt like working with family. "When we’re jumping from one film to the other we make friends, acquaintances, confidants, or sometimes people just remain good colleagues, but very rarely does a set feel like family. This one is that for me," she wrote.

Earlier, the actor described working with Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad as a "a dream come true." Now, she shared her thoughts about collaborating with the legendary actor and the celebrated director. "Learned so much from the stalwarts- Mohanlal sir and Sathyan Sir. Just watching them, having them guide me, seeing how they bring cinematic magic to life, and all of this they do with so much of dignity and respect and grace."

The first schedule took place in Thekkady, including "in the beautiful hills and tea estates," in the actor's own words. Besides announcing the schedule wrap, the actor shared some stills from the sets, including one that appears to be her character's first look.

Hridayapoorvam has a story written by Akhil Sathyan and screenplay cum dialogues by Sonu TP. The cast also includes Sangita Madhavan Nair, Sangeeth Prathap, and Siddique in key roles. It has cinematography by Anu Moothedath and music by Justin Prabhakaran. An Aashirvad Cinemas production, Hridayapoorvam is scheduled for an August 25 release.
