Kunchacko Boban’s latest action thriller Officer on Duty, which is currently enjoying a successful run at the Malayalam box office, is set to hit Telugu screens on March 7. The Tamil version is also in the pipeline for release later in March, though an exact date has not been revealed yet.
Directed by debutant Jithu Ashraf, Officer on Duty was originally released in Malayalam on February 20 and has been met with mostly positive reviews from both critics and audiences. Scripted by Shahi Kabir, the investigative thriller stars Kunchacko Boban in the lead role, alongside Priyamani, Jagadish, and Vishak Nair in pivotal roles.
Officer on Duty has cinematography by Kannur Squad director Roby Varghese Raj, music composed by Jakes Bejoy, and editing by Chaman Chakko. The film is produced by Martin Prakkat Films in association with The Green Room, headed by Siby Chavara and Ranjith Nair.
