Unni Mukudan, whose career has gotten a massive boost with Marco's success, is set to act with Vikram soon. Our sources close to Sree Gokulam Movies inform us that the production house will be bringing together the two actors for a film planned to be made in Tamil and Malayalam. The banner's executive producer Krishnamoorthy met Unni and Vikram recently and held initial talks. More details regarding the project, including who will be directing it, are still awaited.
Unni Mukundan's latest release Marco, directed by Haneef Adeni, has emerged as a sensational blockbuster. The action-thriller caught nationwide attention for its unabashed portrayal of violence and bloodshed, on a scale that's unusual for an Indian film. Inspired by the massive response, the makers dubbed and released it in Hindi and Telugu. According to them, the combined gross figures have already crossed the 100 crore mark.
Meanwhile, Unni also has the comedy-drama Get-Set Baby and the fantasy adventure film Gandharva Jr as part of his lineup. His long-delayed film Mindiyum Paranjum, directed by Luca-fame Arun Bose, is also expected to be released this year.
Vikram also has a busy slate ahead, with his highly-anticipated actioner Veera Dheera Sooran Part: 2 gearing up for release. The actor will also be teaming up with Maaveran-fame Madonne Ashwin next.
