OTT trailer of Sambavasthalathu Ninnum out

The makers of Sambavasthalathu Ninnum have released an OTT trailer for the film on Monday. Directed by debutant Sinto David from a screenplay by Sanju Elavally and Akhilesh Thayyur, the film released in theatres on August 30 last year. It is billed as a "socially relevant drama" that promises to offer "a thought-provoking cinematic experience." The film stars Sinseer in the lead role of a reporter who comes across various people during his work assignment journey, including a Tamil Nadu-based woman called Adhilakshmi (Dayana Hameed). The makers say that the film explores "pressing social issues, offering a nuanced exploration of contemporary Indian society."

Speaking about the film, actor Sinseer said, "I play Nikhil Dhamodar, an investigative journalist, in this film. And the story unfolds with his journey of uncovering some pressing social issues that form the crux of Sambavasthalathu Ninnum. The film discusses some important social issues that are relevant in today’s time and it ends with a hook, hinting a part two. I’m sure this will resonate with wider audiences during the OTT release."

Sambavasthalathu Ninnum also stars Lal Jose, Sunil Sukhatha, Sudheer Karamana, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Kriss Vengopal, and Ajith Koothattukulam, among others.

The film has songs composed by by Jinu Vijayan, Ajay Joseph Densil M Wilson and Peter Vargheese with lyrics by Sareesh Pulincheri, Akhilesh Thayyur, and Jomon Jose. The singers include Madhu Balakrishnan, Chithra Arun, Sareesh Pulincheri, Pramod Padiyath, and Star Singer fame Aravind Nair.

The technical team also includes cinematographer Aneesh Arjunanan, art director Jason Guruvayoor, and background music composer Jinu Vijayan.

The makers are yet to announce a streaming platform and release date.
