Mohanlal is gearing up for his first release of the year with Thudarum, slated to hit screens on January 30. Meanwhile, its makers have shared a behind-the-scenes video. The 1-minute long video has the cast and crew members having some hearty laughs during the film's making. With very little known about the film so far, a teaser or trailer is eagerly awaited by many.
Thudarum is directed by Tharun Moorthy, who earlier made Operation Java and Saudi Vellakka. He has also co-written the film with KR Sunil. It features veteran Shobana as the female lead, reuniting her with Mohanlal after several years. The supporting cast also includes Binu Pappu, Maniyanpilla Raju, Farhaan Faasil, Irshad, and Aanandam-fame Thomas Mathew, among others.
Thudarum has cinematography by Shaji Kumar, music by Jakes Bejoy, sound design by Vishnu Govind, and editing by the late Nishadh Yusuf and Shafeeque VB. It is produced by M Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media.
