The trailer for Unni Mukundan's Get-Set Baby was unveiled on Sunday. Directed by Vinay Govind, known for helming Kili Poyi (2013) and Kohinoor (2015), the upcoming film is set to hit cinemas on February 21.
Scripted by debutant Anoop Ravindran and YV Rajesh, the film's trailer opens with a voiceover from Unni Mukundan, stating that children are a blessing from God. It then introduces his character, a medical student training to become a gynaecologist, who later specialises in IVF treatment. As the only male in his class, he attracts the curiosity of his female peers. The trailer also teases his interactions with the film’s leading lady, Nikhila Vimal, offering glimpses of their romance. Promising to be a light-hearted entertainer, Get-Set Baby blends comedy with drama.
The film also stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Johny Antony, Meera Vasudevan, Shyam Mohan, Surabhi Lakshmi, Muthumani, Punya Elizabeth, Dinesh Prabhakar, Fara Shibla, Bhagath Manuel, Sudheesh and Jewel Mary. Its technical team includes cinematographer Alex J Pulickal, editor Arju Benn and music director Sam CS. Get-Set Baby is produced by Suunil Jaiin, Sajiv Soman, and Prakshali Jain under the banners of Skanda Cinemas and Kingsmen Productions.
