Rekhachithram OTT release date announced

Asif Ali's superhit thriller film Rekhachithram will have its digital premiere on Sony LIV on March 7, as announced by the streaming platform on Saturday. The film follows Vivek Gopinath (Asif), a cop who heads a murder investigation, which takes him 40 years back to a film set and the mysterious disappearance of a female cast member. Jofin T Chacko directed the film, which met with a largely positive response during its theatrical run. As per the makers, it has done a worldwide business of over Rs 75 crore so far. In a recent interview with us, director Jofin confirmed that remake talks are already underway in multiple languages.

Talking about Rekhachithram's OTT release, Asif Ali said, "Bringing Vivek to life was both a challenge and a privilege. This film keeps audiences guessing, blurring the lines between truth and deception in ways they won’t see coming. Rekhachithram also stars Anaswara Rajan, Zarin Shihab, Manoj K Jayan, and Siddique in key roles. It is scripted by Ramu Sunil and John Manthrickal, based on the former's story. Venu Kunnappilly produced the film under the banner of Kavya Film Company.
