Shane Nigam is set to headline a new Malayalam film El Clasico, directed by debutant Rosh Rasheed. Sharing its title poster on social media, the RDX actor captioned it: "EL CLASICO: VOLTAGE HIGH, TEMPER HIGHER. When authority clashes with arrogance, expect an explosion." The film features Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead, with Chemban Vinod Jose playing a pivotal role.
Jointly scripted by Ameer Suhail and Rohith Reji, El Clasico will be produced by Naisam Salam under his namesake banner, which previously backed the Basil Joseph-starrer Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham (2023) and the upcoming Asif Ali-starrer Abhyanthara Kuttavali, slated for an Eid release.
Further details regarding El Clasico's extended cast, technical crew, genre, and plot remain under wraps.
Shane, who was last seen in his Tamil debut Madraskaaran, has multiple projects in various stages of production. These include an untitled sports-based action film directed by debutant Unni Sivalingam, the romantic entertainer Haal by newcomer Veeraa, and an untitled project by Martin Joseph, presented by acclaimed filmmaker Jeethu Joseph.
